michael "ruff" ruffin

Michael Ruffin brings a wealth of NBA and elite player-development experience to Swysh Den. A Denver native and Tulsa University standout (First-Team All-WAC), Ruffin was selected 32nd overall in the 1999 NBA Draft and went on to play nine NBA seasons as a rugged, defense-first power forward/center. During his career he suited up for the Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards, Milwaukee Bucks, and Portland Trail Blazers, earning a reputation for toughness, rebounding, and doing the dirty work that helps teams win.
After retiring, Ruffin transitioned into coaching and development, serving as a player development coach with the New Orleans Pelicans beginning in 2014, an assistant coach in the G League with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, and later joining the Phoenix Suns as an assistant coach/player-development staff member.
His blend of NBA playing grit and modern pro-level teaching now fuels how he trains athletes—emphasizing defensive pride, physicality, and the details that translate directly to game impact.
Will Lofton (TRAINeM) is a high-energy skill-development coach and the founder of Will TRAINeM Athletics, known for building guards and wings through “reps x ♾️” detail work—ball handling, shot creation, finishing, and game-speed decision making.
He’s a basketball instructor and NASM-certified personal trainer, blending strength/conditioning principles with on-court skill development to help athletes improve safely and efficiently.
Originally from Illinois, Will has become a respected name in the Arizona hoops scene, leading youth teams and competitive programs under the TRAINeM banner.
He’s also featured as a coach with regional development events like United Skills Academy, reflecting his reputation for teaching the game, connecting with players, and raising performance standards.

Jevon "von" estelle

Jevon “Coach Von” Estelle brings high-level playing and training experience to the gym. A former Grand Canyon University men’s basketball player (2013–2016), he competed at the Division I level and built his foundation as a tough, detail-oriented forward from Winslow, Arizona.
Since college, Von has dedicated his career to player development—training athletes across age groups and skill levels—drawing on professional training experience and mentorship from top development systems. He’s also the founder of GRO Athletic and Dream Team Academy, programs focused on elite skill work, character growth, and building complete athletes.
brannon gates
Brannon “Coach Swish” Gates is the founder and lead trainer of S.W.I.S.H. Player Development, an elite basketball training program based in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Through SWISH, he works with players of all ages and levels, building complete skill packages with a strong emphasis on shooting development, defensive technique, footwork, and creating space off the dribble. Coach Gates is known for personalized training plans that meet athletes where they are and push them toward their next level, combining detail work with game-speed reps and confidence building.

roxy barahman

Roxy Barahman is a dynamic leader, former Division I athlete, and passionate mentor dedicated to empowering young athletes on and off the court. Known for her relentless work ethic and strategic basketball mind, Roxy brings elite playing experience, coaching expertise, and a deep commitment to athlete development to the Swysh Den community.
A standout collegiate guard with a reputation for scoring, leadership, and resilience, Roxy has transformed her competitive mindset into a purpose-driven career focused on building confidence, discipline, and growth in the next generation. She believes in creating environments where athletes feel seen, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.

jordan schiller

Jordan Schiller brings a coach-first, player-development background rooted in both competitive play and daily skill work. He’s a Skills Development Trainer and Certified Coach, where he works hands-on with athletes to sharpen fundamentals, IQ, and game-ready habits.
He also serves as the assistant national coach at AZ Compass, giving him real in-season bench experience developing players in a team setting.
Before coaching, Jordan played varsity basketball at Pacific Hills High School in Los Angeles, which helps inform his teaching approach from a player’s perspective.
kai warren

Kai Warren brings a proven, high-level playing background into every workout at Swysh Den. A 6’4” guard/forward from Poulsbo, Washington, Kai competed collegiately at Lewis–Clark State College, where he contributed as a versatile wing and reliable perimeter shooter—appearing in 17 games during the 2022–23 season and hitting 23 three-pointers at 35.9%.
Before LC State, Kai made a name for himself at Bellevue College, highlighted by a breakout tournament performance where he erupted for 40 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists in a Bulldog Classic championship win—showing his ability to score, rebound, and create at a high level.
With experience as a multi-position player who impacts the game on both ends, Kai now pours that knowledge into player development—helping athletes sharpen skill, confidence, and basketball IQ through the same details and standards that shaped his own path.
blake kramer

Blake Kramer brings a California hoops background and a steady, team-first approach to Swysh Den. A native of Rocklin, California, Blake played varsity basketball at Whitney High School, where he built his game as a competitive guard in one of Northern California’s strong prep programs (Class of 2023).
After high school, he stayed connected to high-level basketball through the college game, currently serving as a practice player / student manager with Grand Canyon University Women’s Basketball, giving him daily exposure to Division I training standards, scouting, and player-development detail.
That blend of competitive prep experience and hands-on D1 program work shapes how Blake trains athletes now—emphasizing fundamentals, pace, spacing, and doing the small things that translate from the gym to real games.
zach williamson

Zach Williamson brings a competitive Alaska-to-college basketball background and a steady, high-IQ style of play. A 6’4”–6’5” guard/forward from Anchorage, Alaska, Zach starred at South Anchorage High School, where he helped lead the Wolverines to a Class 4A Alaska state championship and hit the game-winning buzzer beater in the title game—one of the most memorable shots in recent Alaska prep hoops.
After high school, he continued his development at Pima Community College in Arizona, gaining experience in a strong JUCO program, before moving on to the next level at Western New Mexico University.
His path through championship-level prep basketball and college competition shapes the way he teaches the game today—emphasizing toughness, poise in big moments, and doing the details that win.
